OC Game

I'm surprised that some of you guys like/want to play otome games XD But then again it probably shouldn't be all that surprising lol.

Anyhow some of you guys that haven't been around me much probably don't know I'm working on something like an otome game o3o I was going to do a story with elves, but I've decided to go with a different story with spirits.

It's not really "poltergeist" in nature, but more like demons/summons? The game is an adventure/role playing game where you form pacts with these different spirits and then build up your bond with them. Of course all the spirits are lovely-looking gentlemen cuz... we like lovely-looking gentlemen XD *shot* That's kinda why it's an otome game. You can choose your character from a set of girls, and you'll be able to team up with remaining girls so you can collect more spirits.

There will be a little stat building that will change the story path, but the game will be more about story and problem solving (Phoenix Wright anyone?) but more alternative options as to where the story will go. Now I don't have much faith in myself to plan out good mysteries/problems/puzzles or anything, so we'll see. I'm still working out all the kinks for gameplay, story, and characters. I'm also trying to make sure this game is doable for me to make by myself. So things may change. But there's a summary of what it'll be about without revealing too much ^_^

Oh no, I'm probably not doing anymore cons till AM. I don't really go to cons unless I can compensate my tickets XD cuz I'm too poor XD But I kinda wanted to work on my game anyways, and I have more time to make more fanart now ^_^

Yeah, I haven't gone to a con as a regular con-goer in forever. But that's kinda of the fun of this . . . that we will be regular con-goers, of course because of that we probably won't last the entire day. *laugh* I've got a DnD session later that day. :D Level 10 Archer ranger. Oh, yeah. I wanna rp.

That's fun then, it's good to be productive. I'm already workin' on Secret Santa stuff, lol.

Yeah, we met at the first con he tabled at and we meet regularly to draw weekly. It's a lot of fun. :D

XD Yeah, I hope to have complete pics instead of the few I've got from Halloween. I also hope to get some prospects on selling some modded steampunk Nerf guns, if I can get any takers. XD *laugh*

I've been going to conventions for over a decade. o_o

:| Well, yeah that've got all sorts of tabletop, TCG/CCG, and strategy games going, but I mean I've got a group I regularly play with that I want to return to after the con. *laugh*

Depends on which group you're trying to get into. They are filling up fast, though, :iconnippondaisuki: still has open slots. One of the groups I tried to join fell through, which sucks. But that just means I only have two Secret Santas to stress about this year, lol. Ah well.

Nah, we talk all the time. Sometimes we talk more than draw, but it's still fun to get together with them regularly like this since we're all kinda at different stages in our lives. >_<

:B I put it together for Halloween as a future cosplay costume, lol. I've always liked steampunk and I got into it after I started to work on this art trade with someone (the topic being steampunk), and then I got it into my head to steampunk it up for Halloween. The downside is the costume isn't quite complete. Maybe for Matsuri it'll be done. XD

It's not how good a piece is that determines whether it's good or not; it's the heart and passion that one puts into it. I would rather see art that's not so good but full of heart than a piece that is amazing but was considered a burden for the creator.
