This is just the method I use to prepare my lineart. There's no wrong or right way, this is just the style I've developed. I've been using this method for awhile... it may seem complicated but it makes my work go VERY fast. That's why I use it XD

That trick with the dodge and burn tool is incredibly useful (and the rest of the tutorial too ofcourse
